The Mutual Fund Management Company of the Philippines, Inc. (MFMCP), one of the leading investment management companies in the country donated 50,000 pesos to GAL on December 13, 2007. Mr. Gerald D. Baldivia and Ms. Nicole of MFMCP personally handed the company’s cash donation to Ms. Melanie T. Ilisan, Project Coordinator of GAL in its Makati City office.

Another company, Textshoppe Philippines, makers of deluxe textiles in the country, also donated some medical devices to Give a Life such as eight baby bassinets and two oximeters on Dec. 20, 2007. These devices were given to East Avenue Hospital in Quezon City. Dr. Ramon Severino from the Tumor Clinic of East Avenue Hospital felt glad on the donation. GAL personally thanks Mr. Arnel Gacho and Benedict, representative of Textshoppe for initiating the donation.
