The East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) was organized by virtue President Corazon C. Aquino’s of Executive Order No. 48 in 1986. It was formerly named the Hospital Ng Bagong Lipunan, established on January 8, 1978. EAMC is under control and direct supervision of the Department of Health. The constructions and repairs of EAMC’s rooms and facilities are on-going for its efforts to give high-quality standard of patient care to the optimum number of the populace, irrespective of their social, educational, economic and religious background. In line with these developments, Give A Life Charity Foundation, in cooperation with Springboard Foundation and BIBLIAWIT CHORALE Group, represented by Mr. Jhune & Bless Tanquilut, pledged their all out support for EAMC’s undertakings through the sponsoring and initiating the renovation of Rooms 1 and 2 of EAMC’s Tumor Clinic. The series of photos below show the progress of the EAMC’s Tumor Clinic during the renovation process which is expected to be completed on or before July 2009. With BIBLIAWIT’s “Share the Love, Give a Life” concert held on December 20, 2008, at Kingston Ontario, Canada, the group was able to raise 250,000 pesos, which the group donated all to GAL for the renovation of East Avenue Medical Center – Tumor Clinic Room 2. The group sung the song “Share the Love, Give A Life” originally composed by Mr. Tanquilut Jr. for Give a Life..
